The Influencers of Albedo and the Impact of Albedo on Surface Temperature

As our climate is rapidly warming it is important to look at possible as possible factors for this rise in surface temperature. The reflectivity of a surface, otherwise known as albedo, is a very important factor in determining surface temperature. Albedo has many different influencers including aerosols, snow cover, cloud cover and vegetation. This study looked at these different influencers and the impact they had on albedo along with the impact of albedo on surface temperature. Through satellites, large amounts of data were collected allowing for statistical analysis to occur which supported the theory that albedo has numerous influencers. Through this study it was found that albedo has numerous influencers and has an impact on surface temperature.
