Do mosquitoes have a preference in blood

Mentor: N/A

Currently I'm studying why mosquitoes prefer some people over others. my research has taught me that some mosquitoes are more attracted to other people based on smell and where you are in an area. mosquitoes have feeding habits they know where to go to find a meal and how to get it. the type of mosquito I am closely studying is the aedes aegypti.Type of mosquito originated from Africa that can be found in tropical areas. you can distinguish them by their White markings along their legs and thorax. my topic is important because if we learn more about mosquitoes help find cures for malaria yellow fever in more diseases transmitted by mosquitoes. the mosquito population is rising and mosquitoes are becoming smarter. some scientists have tried to find a way to make a pesticide that will kill them based on sugars. and other scientists are trying to find a way to attract a mosquito more towards wild animals than human. I'm passionate about this topic because I'm fascinated on how the mosquito works and why they make the decisions that they do.
