The Effects of Veillonella on Exercise

Mentor: N/A

Currently I am studying the effects of veillonella on the human body while exercising. Veillonella is a gut bacteria that feeds on lactic acid. Lactic acid is produced in your muscles when you are straining them. This can improve endurance and physical performance. It will also reduce soreness in your muscles after you exercise. Creating a probiotic out of this can help the average adult have better performance and more improvement when going to the gym or exercising. Veillonella is found in higher levels in long distance runners and top tier athletes. Having the average person be able to reach these levels could greatly improve the physical fitness of everyone.
